The tour departs at 5:00am from Lids, 714 7th Ave, New York, NY 10036 — in Midtown Manhattan. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to ensure a smooth departure.
How long is the full day?
The tour runs from 5:00am to approximately 8:00pm, making it a full 15-hour day. It's a long but well-structured itinerary with stops and free time built in.
Is lunch included?
No — lunch is not included. There is free time built into the Washington DC leg for you to eat at your own expense.
Do we go inside the White House or Independence Hall?
The White House and Capitol Building are viewed from the outside only. The itinerary includes a walk through Independence National Historical Park where you'll see Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
I'm travelling with a young child — what do I need to know?
Children under 3 travel free but no seat is provided for them. New York State law requires all children under 8 to travel in an appropriate child restraint system, and children under 2 must use a rear-facing seat. You must bring your own — without it, your child cannot join the tour and no refund will be given.
Can the itinerary change?
Yes — the order and exact stops may be adjusted due to weather or traffic conditions, though the core landmarks remain the same.
