Departure — JR Ueno Station (Park Gate)

What happens if Mount Fuji's 5th Station is closed?
During winter the Fuji Subaru Line road is sometimes closed to vehicles. If this happens, the tour substitutes a visit to Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine, one of the most important shrines in the Fuji area.
Which departure point should I choose — Ueno or Shinjuku?
Pick whichever is closer to your accommodation. Ueno departs at 07:30 and Shinjuku at 08:30; both join the same tour. If you're staying in west or central Tokyo, Shinjuku is usually more convenient.
Is lunch included in the price?
No — lunch at Lake Kawaguchi is at your own expense. There are restaurants and food stalls in the area, so budget accordingly and bring some yen in cash.
