What is the difference between the 4-hour pass and the full-day pass?
The 4-hour pass gives you four hours of hop-on hop-off access from first use, while the full-day (one-day) pass is valid for the entire operating day. Both include free city bus rides and the same attraction discounts.
Can I use the bus in the evening as well as during the day?
Yes. The Starlight service runs three evening departures at 18:20, 19:00, and 19:40, covering Tainan Station, Chihkan Culture Park, Shennong Street, and Xiao Ximen. This is included within your pass validity.
Do I need to print my ticket, or is a mobile ticket accepted?
A mobile ticket on your phone is accepted. There is no need to print anything, though you can do so if you prefer.
My child is under six — do I need to buy them a ticket?
Children aged five and under ride free, but must share a seat with their parent or guardian. Each adult may bring one child free of charge; additional children are charged at the child rate. Proof of age is required.
Where do children aged 6–12 buy their tickets?
Tickets for children aged 6 to 12 must be purchased directly on-site at the boarding point. Proof of age is required.
Are the attraction discounts applied automatically?
No — you will need to present your valid bus pass at the ticket desk of each attraction to receive the 20% discount. The discount applies to Fort Provintia, Anping Fort, Anping Tree House, Eternal Golden Castle, and Confucius Temple.
