Are dolphins guaranteed on the cruise?

Port Stephens has a resident pod of wild bottlenose dolphins, so sightings are common, but as with any wildlife experience they cannot be guaranteed. The captain uses local knowledge to maximise your chances.

Can I bring young children?

Children aged 4 and over can be booked online. Children under 4 must purchase tickets directly at the marina on the day of departure.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No — a mobile ticket on your phone is accepted at boarding. Just have your confirmation ready to show.

Is the boom netting compulsory?

Not at all. It's included in your ticket and entirely optional. If you'd rather stay dry and enjoy the views, that's perfectly fine.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The Moonshadow V is an all-weather catamaran with enclosed indoor seating, so the cruise generally runs in most conditions. Check with the operator directly if you have concerns about severe weather on your travel date.

Is there food and drink on board?
