Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Your mobile ticket is accepted at the entrance — simply show it on your phone screen.
What happens if I arrive late for my entry slot?
Entry to the palace interior is only permitted at the pre-booked date and time shown on your ticket. If you miss your slot, you may not be admitted to the palace, though you can still explore the park. Arrive early enough to walk the 30 minutes from the park entrance to the palace.
Are children free?
Children under 6 enter free of charge. Children aged 6 to 17 require a child ticket at the appropriate rate.
Is the palace accessible for visitors with reduced mobility?
The palace sits at the top of a steep, hilly park with uneven paths and steps. Some areas have limited accessibility. Check on-site signage on the day, as conditions can vary.
Are there any areas that might be closed during my visit?
Certain paths and garden areas may be temporarily closed due to weather, fire risk or maintenance. From 2 March to 1 April 2026, the Private Apartments area of the palace is closed to visitors. Always follow on-site signs and respect any barriers.
What time should I arrive to see everything?
Last admission to the park is 1 hour before closing, and last admission to the palace is 30 minutes before closing. Factor in the 30-minute walk from the park entrance to the palace, and allow a good half-day to explore the grounds at a comfortable pace.
