Frequently asked questions
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Your mobile ticket can be presented directly on your phone screen at the entrance — a screenshot works fine.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellation terms depend on the ticket type selected. Check the specific option at checkout for the applicable policy before confirming.
Are children free?
Children under 3 years old enter free of charge. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
What is the difference between a fixed-date and open-dated ticket?
A fixed-date ticket is valid only on the date you select. An open-dated ticket gives you flexibility to visit on any eligible day within the validity period — useful if your plans might change.
Can I still see sea lions during the renovation?
The sea lion and penguin habitats are closed for renovation until 2027, but you can watch the Splash Safari Presentation daily at 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM at the Shaw Foundation Amphitheatre.
What is Curiosity Cove and do I need to book a time slot?
Curiosity Cove is an interactive play area within the zoo. Entry is by allocated time slot, and early-access sessions are available on weekends, public holidays and school holidays with limited capacity — arrive early to secure your slot.
