Does my phone need to be unlocked?
Yes. Phones with a carrier or country lock cannot use these SIM cards. Check with your network provider before travelling if you are unsure.
When does the SIM validity period start?
The clock starts the moment you activate the SIM, not at midnight. A 5-day SIM activated at 3:00 PM on 1 August expires at 3:00 PM on 6 August.
What happens when I use up my daily data allowance?
After reaching the 3 GB daily limit, your connection continues at a reduced speed of 5 Mbps. The daily allowance resets at midnight.
How do I top up the T-Money card?
Top up at any convenience store in South Korea (such as GS25, CU, or 7-Eleven). The card works on buses, subways, and authorised taxis.
Can I make outgoing calls from the SIM?
Incoming calls and texts are free on all plans. Outgoing voice calls and SMS require the Data + Voice + Text add-on, available at the pickup counter for iPhone and Samsung users.
What SIM card size will I receive?
The SIM is available in nano, micro, and standard sizes — check which your phone requires before you arrive.
