Friends recommended Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and we had high hopes for Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and while some aspects delivered, others fell short. The team were friendly though.
Photos looked good online but being there in person with Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland was on another level entirely. Exactly what we hoped for.
Everything ran smoothly and on time. Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland packs a lot in without feeling rushed. No regrets at all.
We had one afternoon free in Rotorua so yes it costs a little more than some alternatives but the quality is in a completely different league. Left us with great photos and memories.
Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland had its moments but overall did not fully match what was described. The core elements are good, just needs polishing.
