Where does the trip depart from?

The coach departs from Piazza del Popolo in central Rome at 7.30 am. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

If rain prevents the Vesuvius hike, the group visits the National Archaeological Museum of Naples instead — home to one of the world's finest collections of Roman artefacts.

Is the Vesuvius hike included in winter?

No. From early November to March, Vesuvius is not accessible. The itinerary is replaced with a scenic panoramic drive along the Amalfi Coast and free time in Positano.

Lunch is not included. There are pizzerias close to the Pompeii archaeological site, so bring cash or a card. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks.

Can children join this trip?

Yes. Children under 2 travel free if they sit on an adult's lap. Please check ticket options for older children when booking.

Do I need to print my ticket?
