Frequently asked questions
Where do I collect the physical passes?
Passes must be collected from the Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi desks at St. Peter's Square, which is open daily, or at the Lateran Palace (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays). Your digital voucher is not valid for attraction entry on its own.
Does the pass cover children?
Children's passes do not include the Roma Pass or the Travelcard. However, children under 10 travel free on Rome's public transport when accompanied by a paying adult, and admission to most Rome attractions is free for under-18s.
Do I need to pre-book individual attractions separately?
Some attractions within the pass require an online reservation in addition to the pass itself. Check the full list and any reservation requirements at romeandvaticanpass.com/en/rome-attractions before your visit.
When does the 72-hour clock start?
The 72-hour validity begins when you first activate or use the pass. For precise activation terms, refer to the information provided at the collection desk or on the official OMNIA pass website.
Which metro lines does the Travelcard cover?
The Roma Pass Travelcard is valid on metro lines A, B, B1, and C, all city buses and trams, and the Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio–Piazza del Popolo–Viterbo, and Roma-Giardinetti overground lines within the Municipality of Rome.
Can I use a mobile ticket at the attractions?
No — the OMNIA pass is a physical card that must be collected before use. Your booking confirmation is a collection voucher, not an entry ticket.
