Pleasant but not a standout
We almost skipped this but we are glad we went. Rome is wonderful and National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia gave us a good introduction, even if it lacked a little spark. One of the highlights of our trip.

We had a great time with National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia and would definitely recommend it. A couple of very small organisational hiccups but nothing major.
Worth getting up early for — we are already looking at dates to return to Rome specifically to do National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia again with family.
We chose the afternoon slot and whether you are a couple, a family or solo, National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia works brilliantly. Glad we did not miss it.
We booked this on a whim and we came away with good memories. National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia felt like it was trying to be special but did not quite get there.
Worth getting up early for — the setting alone would make National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia worthwhile but combine it with excellent guides and it becomes unmissable.
