Yes, but your ticket is valid for two consecutive days, so you have the option to spread your visit across both days if you prefer a more relaxed pace.

Is the castle ever closed or partially restricted?

Individual buildings or the entire complex may close temporarily for state ceremonies or operational reasons. Access to St. Vitus Cathedral can also be limited during religious services.

Are children required to have their own ticket?

Yes. Children aged 0–5 require a child ticket and those aged 6–16 require a youth ticket. Neither is free of charge.

Is Prague Castle accessible for visitors with disabilities?

Visitors holding a disability ID card, along with one accompanying person named on the card, are admitted free of charge. Please note that parts of the historic complex involve uneven cobblestones and steps.
