Frequently asked questions
When will I receive my booking confirmation?
A confirmation email is sent two days after your booking date, so allow a couple of days before chasing it up.
Which departure time should I choose — morning or afternoon?
The morning departure (09:00, returning by 12:00) is cooler and frees up your afternoon. The afternoon slot (14:00, returning by 17:00) suits those with a slow morning or arriving later in the day.
What's the difference between the two ticket options?
Both options cover the full rickshaw tour with guide, water and transfers. The 'with Lunch' option adds a meal during the tour; the standard option does not include lunch.
Do I need cash on the day?
The mung bean snacks at A Bo's are at your own expense, so bring a small amount of New Taiwan Dollars if you'd like to try them.
Can young children join the tour?
Yes — children aged five and under participate free of charge. The rickshaw ride makes it manageable for small children, though comfortable footwear is recommended for the walking sections.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In cases of extreme weather, the tour may be cancelled or the itinerary adjusted. The order of stops can also vary due to local conditions on the day.
