What are the opening hours?
Hours change with the season. In summer (21 June–31 August) the zoo opens 9:30 AM–8:30 PM, with late-night Thursday openings until 11:30 PM from mid-June to mid-August. Winter hours (mid-October to late March) are 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. The zoo closes for approximately three weeks after Christmas. Always check the official website before your visit as hours shift throughout the year.
Is the zoo suitable for young children?
Yes — children under 3 enter free with proof of identification. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or over.
