Rockefeller Center is a large campus. Enter Top of the Rock on 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues — not through the main Rockefeller Plaza entrance. Present your mobile ticket at the admission desk.

Do I need to print my ticket or is my phone enough?
Your mobile ticket is all you need — just show the QR code on your phone's screen at the entrance on 50th Street.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day I've booked?
Top of the Rock does not issue refunds for bad weather. If conditions affect your visit, staff will reissue your ticket for a future date and time on site. Occasionally parts of the deck are closed for safety reasons.
Are there height or weight requirements for The Beam?
To ride The Beam alone, guests must be at least 132 cm tall. Guests between 107 cm and 131 cm may ride if accompanied by a paying adult. The maximum weight limit is 136 kg.
Is there a difference between the General Admission and the Sunset or Evening tickets?
The experience and decks are the same — the difference is timing. Sunset and evening slots let you see the city as the light changes and the skyline illuminates, which many visitors prefer. Check the ticket options grid to see which time windows are available.
What does the VIP Pass include compared to standard admission?
The VIP Pass provides priority access to the observation decks. If you want to avoid any queuing inside the venue, this is the option to choose.
Is Top of the Rock suitable for young children?
Yes — children under 6 enter free of charge. The outdoor decks have safety barriers, and the lift ride itself tends to delight younger visitors. For The Beam, children between 107 cm and 131 cm must be with a paying adult.
