No. Your ticket is delivered to your phone and can be scanned directly from your screen at the entrance.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

Top of the Rock does not offer refunds for bad weather, but staff will reissue your ticket for a different date and time at the venue. Note that some deck areas may be closed during adverse conditions for safety reasons.

Is there a height or weight limit for The Beam?

Yes. Guests must be at least 132 cm tall to ride The Beam unaccompanied. Those between 107 cm and 131 cm may ride if accompanied by a paying adult. The maximum weight limit is 136 kg.

Children under 6 years old enter free of charge. Children between 107 cm and 131 cm in height can join The Beam if a paying adult accompanies them.

Which entrance do I use?

Head to 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Rockefeller Center is a large campus, so this specific entrance is the one to use for Top of the Rock.

What is the difference between the daytime, sunset, and evening tickets?

All three tickets give you the same access — the three observation decks and The Beam. The difference is purely the time of day you visit: daytime for clear skyline views, sunset for golden-hour light, and evening for the city illuminated after dark.
