Do not stop at Castle Clinton or engage with unlicensed vendors in the park. Your ticket time is your queue time for security screening, not the ferry departure time. For New Jersey departures, head to the Liberty State Park terminal. Present your mobile ticket at screening.

Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Your mobile ticket is accepted at the security screening facility. It is worth taking a screenshot in case of poor signal in Battery Park.
What does my ticket time actually mean?
Your ticket time is when you should join the queue for security screening — not when the ferry departs. Allow extra time during peak season (summer, weekends, public holidays) when security queues can run from 15 minutes to several hours.
Can I visit both islands on the same ticket?
Yes. This ticket covers admission to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Ferries stop at both; plan at least three hours to do justice to both sites.
What if I take a late ferry — will I reach Ellis Island?
Late ferries may not leave enough time to visit Ellis Island before closing. Check the current schedule at statuecitycruises.com and aim to depart early in the day.
Are there unlicensed ticket sellers I should watch out for?
Yes. Battery Park has vendors who may approach you claiming to sell official tickets — they do not. Proceed directly to the Security Screening Facility with your pre-booked ticket.
