The tour departs at 4:00 AM from Two Times Square and returns to New York at approximately 11:30 PM — a full day out of around 19–20 hours including travel time.

Is the Maid of the Mist included in all ticket options?

No. The boat cruise is included only in the 'with Boat Cruise' ticket option. The standard tour and audio guide options visit the falls but do not include the cruise.

What happens if the Maid of the Mist isn't running?

The Maid of the Mist operates seasonally, roughly May to October, depending on ice conditions. Outside that period, the tour provides access to alternative viewpoints such as Gorge Walk and Terrapin Point instead.

Do I need to bring a child car seat?

Yes. New York State law requires children under 8 to travel in an appropriate child restraint system, and children under 2 must use a rear-facing seat. You must bring your own — failure to do so means the child cannot join the tour and no refund will be given.

Lunch is not included. There is free time during the day to eat at your own cost at restaurants or cafés near Niagara Falls State Park.
