Frequently asked questions
Do I need to book a specific time, or can I just turn up?
Tickets are date-only, so you choose your arrival time on the day. Rentals are available during store hours (9 am–7 pm April–October; 9 am–5 pm November–March), but the last rental is issued two hours before closing, so plan accordingly.
What's the difference between the hybrid bike and the eBike options?
The Cannondale hybrid is a standard pedal bike suited to the flat Miami Beach terrain. The eBike has electric assist, making it easier to cover longer distances or ride in the heat without tiring. Both come in 2-hour, 4-hour, and day-pass lengths.
Is a security deposit required, and will I get it back?
Yes — a refundable deposit is held on a credit card at pick-up. It is released when the bike is returned undamaged before store closing time. Debit cards may not be accepted for the deposit, so bring a credit card.
Can I bring my young child?
Children under 12 months cannot participate. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tag-a-long attachments and toddler trailers are available for an extra charge on arrival (subject to availability) for children under 120 cm and 45 kg.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No — a mobile ticket shown on your phone is accepted at the counter.
What happens if I return the bike late?
All bikes must be returned before the store closes. If you think you may run over time, speak to staff at pick-up — late returns may incur additional charges or affect your deposit.
