A mobile ticket is accepted — simply have your booking confirmation ready to show at check-in at the Melbourne Day Tour Centre.
Where exactly do I meet the tour?
The tour departs from the Melbourne Day Tour Centre near Federation Square. You need to make your own way there; hotel pick-up is not included.
Is the tour available every day?
Availability varies by season. From April to September the tour runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. From October to March it runs daily except Thursdays and Saturdays.
I don't eat meat — can the lunch be adapted?
Yes. Vegetarian meals are available at the spit roast lunch. Please inform the operator of your dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Is this tour suitable for children?
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times throughout the tour.
How physically demanding is the day?
Participants should be reasonably physically fit, as the tour involves moving between the coach, the steam train, forest stops and winery venues over a full day.
