About this experience
On this full-day tour, you will explore the iconic spots of Kyoto and Nara. Start off by visiting the thousands of red torii gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha leading to the top of the hill. You will head to see the scenic bamboo forest of Arashiyama. Continue going to the golden pavillion of Kinkaku-ji Temple before heading to Japan’s old capital, Nara. From there, you will get to meet the deers of Nara Park and visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Todai-ji Temple.

Where does the tour start, and can I join from either Osaka or Kyoto?
Yes — you can join from Osaka VIP Villa Namba (07:40–08:00) or the Kyoto VIP Lounge (08:40–09:00). Select your preferred pick-up point when booking. The tour drops you back at the same location at the end of the day.
Is Todai-ji Temple admission included?
No — Todai-ji Temple charges a separate entrance fee, which is not included in the tour price. All other site admissions listed in the itinerary are covered.
Do I need to print my ticket, or is a mobile ticket accepted?
A mobile ticket is accepted — you can show it on your phone at the meeting point. Printing is not required.
Can children join the tour?
Children aged three and under can join for free but must share a seat with a parent or guardian. Any applicable admission fees at the sites still apply for young children.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In cases of extreme weather, the tour may be cancelled or the itinerary adjusted. If the tour is cancelled by the operator, you will be notified and offered an alternative or refund.
Will the stops always be visited in the same order?
The order of stops may vary due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances, but all listed locations are intended to be included in the tour.
