Do I need rafting experience to join?

No prior rafting experience is needed, but participants must be strong swimmers and in good athletic condition. The guides will brief everyone before entering the water.

Is there an age or weight limit?

Children under 14 years old cannot participate. There is also a maximum weight limit of 125 kg for all participants.

Where exactly do I meet the group?

You meet at either the Sihlquai Coach Terminal near Zurich HB, or the side street next to Lucerne train station, depending on which departure you book. The exact meeting spot and time will be on your confirmation.

Do I need to print my ticket?

A mobile ticket is accepted — simply show your booking confirmation on your phone at the meeting point.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Rafting on the Lutschine runs in most weather conditions. If the operator needs to cancel for safety reasons, you will be notified and offered an alternative or refund. Check your booking confirmation for the operator's specific policy.

Is the activity suitable for non-swimmers or people with limited mobility?
