Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Your mobile ticket is accepted at the entrance — simply show it on your phone.
Is the palace open every day?
The palace is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for most of the year. During July, August and September it opens seven days a week. It is also closed on 25 and 26 December.
Can the palace close unexpectedly?
Yes. As a working royal palace, opening hours and security arrangements can change at short notice. It's worth checking before you travel on the day.
Are children free?
Children under 5 enter free of charge. Children aged 5–17 require a child ticket. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
Is there a discount for young adults?
Yes — a Youth Admission ticket is available for visitors aged 18–24 at a reduced rate.
How long should I allow for a visit?
