Frequently asked questions
Is the transfer both ways, or do I need to arrange my own return?
The included transfer is one-way from your Cairns hotel to the park. The return journey to Cairns is included in the afternoon coach drop-off — the tour ends with hotel drop-offs at approximately 5:30 PM, so the full day is covered.
What is the difference between the three ticket options?
The standard option covers all core park experiences. Adding the Aussie BBQ Lunch includes a barbecue meal at the park. The Premium Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience with Lunch adds a guided in-depth rainforest walk, hands-on Indigenous art tuition, and the chance to paint your own canvas or boomerang, on top of the BBQ lunch.
Can I bring a child under 4, and do they need a ticket?
Children under 4 are admitted free of charge. No seat will be reserved for them on the coach, and lunch is not provided for this age group even on the lunch options.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The itinerary is subject to change due to weather and traffic conditions. The Army Duck tour and most activities take place rain or shine, but specific elements may be adjusted on the day.
Do I need to print my ticket, or is a mobile ticket accepted?
A mobile ticket displayed on your phone is accepted. Bring your booking confirmation to show the driver and at the park entrance.
Is this tour suitable for people with limited mobility?
The tour involves walking on natural rainforest terrain and boarding the Army Duck vehicle. Guests with mobility concerns should contact us before booking to confirm the tour is appropriate for their needs.
