Morning departure with tea and coffee
9:30–10:00 AMSettle in with complimentary tea and coffee as the catamaran prepares to leave Cairns Marina.
Depart Cairns Marina
10:15 AMThe catamaran sets off for Moore Reef on the outer Great Barrier Reef.
Arrive at Moore Reef Pontoon
12:00 PM arrivalSpend the afternoon snorkelling, riding the glass-bottom boat, visiting the underwater observatory, using the waterslide, or adding optional activities such as scuba diving or seawalker helmet diving.
Depart Moore Reef
4:00 PMBoard the catamaran for the return crossing to Cairns.
Return to Cairns Marina
~5:30 PMThe tour concludes on arrival back at Cairns Marina.

Sunlover Reef Cruises operates daily departures to Moore Reef from Cairns and maintains the only waterslide on the Great Barrier Reef at their purpose-built pontoon.

Do I need to be able to swim or have snorkelling experience?
No prior snorkelling experience is needed. The pontoon also offers glass-bottom boat tours and an underwater observatory, so non-swimmers can still see the reef up close.
Is lunch suitable for dietary requirements?

Can I book scuba diving or seawalker helmet diving on the day?

The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions. The operator will advise of any significant changes; check your booking confirmation for the cancellation and amendment policy.
Is this tour suitable for young children?
Yes. Children under 4 travel free of charge. Children under 12 must be directly supervised at all times in the water, and all under-18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
