Where exactly does the tour start — do I need to make my own way anywhere?

The tour starts at your hotel. Your guide will collect you from the lobby between 07:30 and 08:30, and you'll be dropped back at your hotel by around 18:00.

Is the Kunming Lake boat cruise at the Summer Palace included?

No — the lake cruise is not included and is excluded from the tour. You can pay for it separately on-site if you'd like to add it.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my tour?

In cases of extreme weather, the operator may cancel the tour or adjust the itinerary. You'll be notified via the contact number provided at booking.

Can children join, and is there a child price?

Children aged one and under may join free of charge but must share a seat with a parent or guardian and pay any applicable site admission fees. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout.
