When does the pass start — the moment I collect it or on a specific date?
The pass activates on your first check-in. Once active, it runs for your chosen consecutive days, ending at 4:00 AM on the morning after the final day.
Can I use this pass to get from Schiphol to my hotel on arrival?
Yes. The pass covers both the direct train between Schiphol and Amsterdam stations and the Airport Express bus 397, so it works for your very first journey into the city.
Does the pass cover night buses?
It includes the Niteliner N97 between Schiphol and the city centre, but does not cover other night bus services operated by EBS, Arriva or Connexxion.
Do children need their own ticket?
Children under 4 travel free and do not need a pass. Children aged 4 and over require their own ticket.
What if the collection counter is closed when I arrive?
Vending machines at Schiphol Baggage Reclaim (Areas 1–4) and the Canal-side machines at Amsterdam Centraal are available 24 hours a day, so you can always collect your pass on arrival.
Are tram routes to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum included?
