What should I wear to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque?
Both men and women must cover their shoulders and knees. Women are also required to wear a headcover and loose clothing covering their arms and legs at all times inside the mosque. The tour operator can lend local abayas and scarves if you don't have suitable clothing — just ask. Entry will be refused if the dress code is not met.
Can the mosque visit be cancelled on the day?
Yes, in rare cases. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque closes during certain Islamic festivals and when local authorities issue closures. If this happens, a photo stop outside the mosque will be arranged instead.
