About this experience
Contrary to evening tours when the sun has already set, this full-day tour allows you to experience the desert in all its glory. Go on an adventure with Liwa Desert Safari over golden to red sands, and enjoy a thrilling dune bashing ride. You then have the option of enjoying several other other activities at your own expense, including quad biking, camel riding, buggy driving, henna painting, and shisha pipe smoking.

Frequently asked questions
Where does the tour start — do I need to get myself to Liwa?
No. Hotel pickup is included from your Abu Dhabi accommodation at 08:30. You'll be dropped back at your hotel at approximately 18:30.
What does the ticket price actually cover?
Your ticket covers the 4x4 dune bashing ride and lunch in the desert. Optional activities — quad biking, camel riding, buggy driving, henna painting, and shisha — are available on site and paid for separately.
How much should I budget for the optional activities?
Prices for on-site activities are set by the local operators and paid in cash directly on the day. We recommend bringing extra cash if you plan to try any of them.
Is this suitable for children?
Children aged two and under travel free of charge. Children over two should be booked as adults. Dune bashing is an active, bumpy ride, so use your judgement for very young children.
Is the tour suitable for pregnant travellers or people with mobility issues?
The operator does not recommend this tour for expectant mothers or people with disabilities, due to the physical nature of dune bashing.
Do I need to print my ticket?
A mobile ticket is accepted — simply have your booking confirmation ready on your phone when your driver arrives.
Free cancellation.Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.
